Community Health Connections Health Center Site Manager - ACTION in Fitchburg, Massachusetts
Description
Under the supervision of the Chief Operation Officer and Clinical Directors, the Health Center Site Manager provides guidance, leadership and training for staff regarding site operations. The responsibilities of the Site Manager include supervision of operational staff and administrative support staff, investigation of local issues, and the manager serves as a liaison to senior leadership. The position of the Site Manager relies on the individual to be flexible, detail oriented, organized and consistent, with strong interpersonal skills.
Major responsibilities:
Provide administrative and program support.
Provide direct supervision of various health center staff in various disciplines
Interact with all health center staff as appropriate
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Directors of Operations and act as back up when necessary
Provide support including: telephone and written correspondence, coordinating/participating in meetings, and maintaining relationships with internal and external contacts
Provide patient services as appropriate
Schedule meetings, reserve rooms, make travel arrangements as needed (conferences, presentations)
Organize and maintain files, take minutes of meetings, process bills, reimbursements, and payments
Maintain routine office supply inventory/orders supplies & equipment
Gather, organize, analyze, and present project data as needed.
Demonstrates understanding and commitment of the health center mission
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree preferred
2-3 years of supervisory experience strongly required
Experience within healthcare setting required
Knowledge of clinical department (medical, dental, behavioral health) terminology preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish or Portuguese preferred
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience using Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other PC based software
