First Internet Bank of Indiana Relationship Banker in Fishers, Indiana

About the Position:

As a Relationship Banker, you are the first point of contact for customers. You perform a number of client-facing functions, including providing excellent customer service to First Internet Bank customers; responding to customer inquiries via phone, email and chat; and supporting deposit/payment processing, New Accounts, Wire Transfers, ACH and other general banking services.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to customer inquiries about Deposit Accounts, Loan Accounts, Wire Transfers, ACH, Bill Payment, and questions on other bank services and procedures.
  • Explain features and benefits, provide options, determine the next best product or service for all customers. The Bank emphasizes a needs-based sales environment
  • Interact with the other staff in customer service along with employees of the banks other departments in order to meet the needs of the customer
  • Open or verify new deposit accounts
  • Process incoming deposits and payments
  • Enter and verify wire transfers
  • Some essential functions of the position cannot be performed remotely and require on-site work in order to maintain customer relationships and administrative tasks while also providing cross department support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For:

  • One year of relevant customer service experience in retail banking is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to excellence
  • Strong self-initiated problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong PC and Internet skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility of schedule is a plus

Working Conditions/Demands:

  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
