VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Professional to join our fast-growing, 24 hour emergency/multi-specialty practice. Shift will be evening to overnight. Any hours worked between 10p and 6am are also paid a $3 differential in addition to the base pay. At AVCC all roles are included as a team to move us to the same goals of patient and client care.

Responsibilities include general janitorial duties, such as cleaning rest rooms and kitchen, laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness of the hospital. At AVCC we pride ourselves in providing a clean and wonderful hospital environment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or maintenance preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and understanding of OSHA standards and hospital cleaning protocol.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties for the cleaning and maintenance of the hospital.

• General janitorial duties such as the cleaning of restrooms and kitchen, vacuuming, laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and other assigments to ensure hospital cleanliness.

• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists.

• Assist with laundry duties if needed.

• Other duties as assigned
