About the Position:
First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their Finance/Accounting/Business related degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank internship program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and present interns with real-world insight into the financial services industry. This internship is a paid opportunity.
What You Will Do:
- Assist with preparation of month-end financial reports
- Financial statement variance analysis
- Participate in meetings with various lines of business to review forecast to actual results
- Support FPandA during the preparation of the Company-wide rolling forecast
- Utilize FPandA software to come up with ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies in data flow and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Current Sophomore or Junior with demonstrated interest in finance and/or accounting
- Excellent organization and data management
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Superb communication skills
- Desire to work in the finance or accounting field
- Able to commit 40 hours a week during the summer internship period
Working Conditions/Demands:
- Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
