First Internet Bank of Indiana Finance Intern, Commercial and Industrial Lending in Fishers, Indiana
About the Position:
First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank Internship Program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and to present interns with real world insight into the financial/commercial lending. As a Finance Intern in Commercial and Industrial (CandI) Lending at First Internet Bank, you will have the opportunity to work closely with all members of the CandI team in order to complete a variety of tasks.
What You Will Do:
- Work with Portfolio Managers to get an introduction to CandI underwriting
- Work with Relationship Managers to get an introduction on CandI loan structuring and risk identification
- Maintain periodic loan reporting requirements and complete various portfolio management activities
- Perform research and analysis on the various industries that CandI work with to determine market risks
- Assist in loan closings, support file organization and periodic administrative tasks, as needed
- Participate in internal and external meetings with colleagues and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
- Current Sophomore orJuniorwith demonstrated interest in Commercial Banking
- Ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organization and data management skills
- Superb communication skills
Working Conditions/Demands:
- Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
