Description

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Collections Specialist to manage the collection of outstanding invoices from our commercial clients. The successful candidate would have a track-record of maintaining excellent relations with clients, while ensuring successful recovery of debts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts daily for overdue invoices, debts, and other irregularities.

• Contact delinquent clients and make payment arrangements.

• Manage recovery of revenue and handle client negotiations on payment plans.

• Research, resolve, and maintain records of customer disputes and billing discrepancies.

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential or existing customers.

• Regularly review and update client account statuses.

• Coordinate with sales and service departments to address and prevent potential collection issues.

• Report to management on collection activities and account receivables status.

• Comply with all legal and ethical standards of credit and collection practices.

  Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial collections.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard collections software.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
