Robert Half Power BI Developer in Findlay, Ohio

Description

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join us. This role is based in the Manufacturing industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. You will be instrumental in creating Power BI reports and working closely with various business units to help non-technical users utilize specific metrics and functions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Power BI reports to facilitate company-wide data analysis and reporting.

• Collaborate with various business units to understand their reporting needs and translate them into Power BI reports.

• Utilize your expertise in Database and Data Visualization to ensure reports are accurate and user-friendly.

• Leverage your skills in BusinessObjects Technologies and Business Intelligence Technologies to enhance our reporting capabilities.

• Use Microsoft Power BI and Power BI tools to develop reports that meet business requirements.

• Analyze and interpret complex data and business processes to improve the effectiveness of the reports.

• Ensure the reports are up-to-date and accurate by maintaining and monitoring customer accounts.

• Address and resolve any issues or inquiries related to the reports.

• Assist in the integration of new features from the premium Microsoft Fabric subscription into the company's FP& A practices.

• Continually improve your knowledge and skills in Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics, and Business Requirement Document to stay updated with industry trends and developments.

Requirements • Must possess thorough knowledge of BusinessObjects Technologies.

• Proficiency in Database management and Data Visualization is required.

• Must be skilled in Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI).

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence Technologies is needed.

• Ability to prepare and understand Business Requirement Documents.

• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI.

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) is essential.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently as needed.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
