The University of Findlay GRAPHIC DESIGNER in Findlay, Ohio
The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu{rel="nofollow"}) is seeking a full-time graphic designer, responsible for assisting in the production of marketing materials for University Advancement, Arts Events, Student Activities and Academic Programs.
A bachelor's degree in graphic design is required, with a minimum of one year of experience in the field of graphic arts required. Candidate must possess the ability to create original art or illustration; proficiency in art preparation using current versions of design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator); knowledge of printing processes and ability to communicate and work effectively with printers; detail orientation in all aspects of publication production - including ability to proofread and examine press proofs; ability to communicate effectively in dealing with and coordinating the efforts of people - either individually or in groups; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; and willingness to devote time necessary for the completion of tasks or to assist with various University activities. Occasional travel for professional development. A valid US Driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
