Summary/Objective: This position provides warehouse support and customer service. Warehouse associates work as a team or independently to provide receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment services. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: May operate some warehouse equipment: sit down forklift, order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, radio frequency scanner, etc. Loads and unloads all incoming/outgoing freight from common carriers, delivery trucks, etc. Ability to pick, pack, and ship orders per customer requirements Ensures compliance with all documentation required for orders Notates damage and piece counts Verifies receipts against purchase orders Assists in physical inventories Ensures product is stocked and stored in correct locations Keeps work area clean at all times All other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualifications: Work Experience: Previous warehouse experience Education: High School Diploma Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, basic radio frequency scanner skills Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized workspace; ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Cross-functional skills: Basic knowledge of all department functions with ability to solve problems and troubleshoot processes within other departments. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting; ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor; ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to talk, hear as well as use fine finger dexterity for keyboard and phone; ability to speak and understand clear English; ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; ability to repetitively lift and/or move 40-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 70-100 pounds with or without accommodations; ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
