概要 (High-level Description; including manage team/individuals or not)

  • In order to establish a new treatment paradigm in the cardiovascular field and to facilitate the smooth preparation for the launch and appropriate post-marketing use of our developed products, engage in scientific exchange about the disease area to obtain insights from thought leaders (TLs), specialists, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, to promote a proper understanding of the product profile, conduct activities based on medical strategies during the preparation period for the launch and post-marketing.

  • As a Senior MSL, lead the development of field medical strategy and tactical plan, and support the development of MSLs together with the disease area head.

Field medical activities in align with unified brand plan

  • MSL carries out scientific dialogue with TL, and accelerates the advancement of medicine and the evolution of medicine in the areas of cardiovascular diseases.

  • As a principle, MSL will only interact with HCPs based on their information needs and legitimate business needs.

  • MSL plans and holds medical education activities for TL in the disease area, and works to disseminate expertise for proper use.

  • Academic support for BMS lead research, joint research, and investigator initiated research (ISR) shall be appropriately performed in compliance with relevant regulations, promotion codes, and BMSKK internal rules.

  • Analyze and summarize the insights collected from TL, and appropriately share them with internal stakeholders.

  • To provide information in response to inquiries from physicians on the disease area while ensuring the highest level of medical/scientific validity and compliance.

  • A simple spontaneous request (Questions) that can be handled in the FAQ managed by MI in advance will be handled by the Customer Support Center. On the other hand, MSL will respond to physicians with unapproved questions that MI cannot answer.

  • In collaboration with R & D, support development trials and conduct activities to appropriately answer questions from healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain good communication with Sales and Marketing personnel and establish a system for receiving questions, to the extent that it does not deviate from the premise that independent principles of product promotional activities for medical activities are hindered or not seen.

  • Support the development of team members in collaboration with the disease area head.

  • Lead the preparation and execution of the communication plan in the disease area.

Mandatory

  • Basic knowledge about clinical development (Ph1-4), ISRs, Japanese PMS.

  • Knowledge about Medical Affairs Law, Fair Competition Code (FCC), Promotion Code, and any other applicable regulations in Japan.

  • Over 1-year experience in Medical Affairs in Japanese industry.

  • High learning ability to adapt quickly to new disease areas

  • Ability to achieve high levels of KPIs defined at the global level

  • Advanced communication skills to build and maintain good relationships with TLs and specialists, and to negotiate and persuade as needed

  • Judgment ability to appropriately respond to questions and questions from healthcare professionals on the behalf of BMSKK based on academic knowledge

  • Complete level of written Japanese - can completely understand medical articles and general business documents in Japanese, can write formal Japanese at business setting, and can write a medical article in the assigned area.

  • Complete level of oral Japanese - can have medical discussions and build an appropriate relationship with HCPs

  • Business level of English - can completely understand medical articles of assigned area and general business documents in English

  • Coaching and teaching skills for people management as a future people manager candidate

  • Skills to make, execute and manage a project management plan

  • Capable to travel

Better to have

  • Knowledge of assigned therapeutic area (e.g. disease mechanism, epidemiology and typical treatment in Japan)

  • Advanced expertise in medical, pharmaceutical and biological fields (Ph.D., Master's, and Pharmacist Qualifications) or equivalent knowledge and experience.

  • It would be better if there was work experience of people management and major project leads.
