CHEMCO JOB OPENING
Position/Shift: * Treater/* Swing shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm M-F) - will train on day shift 7:00am-3:30pm till fully trained and ready. Full time -- 40hr week + overtime as needed.
Chemco, Inc. is a wood enhancement facility, lumber manufacturing process with chemical fire-resistant treatment. General Requirements- The position requires a semi-skilled individual who is/has:
- Team player with adequate communication skills
- Self starter; Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Basic math skills
- Forklift experience is desired but will train the right individual.
- Safety conscientious.
- Able to repeatedly lift-up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills -- with Excel.
- Ability to multitask.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to recognize different species of lumber and plywood
- Ability to become knowledgeable on chemical treatments
- Able to wear respirator per WISHA standards (Can be properly fit tested and pass physical exam)
- Valid DL and reliable transportation to-from work
- Other production labor as needed to help production flow- stack lumber, load/unload kilns.
Wage - Starting wage, $18.00/hr +$1.00/hr shift differential when swing shift starts.
