Lake Region Healthcare is seeking full time or part time Inpatient Clinical Dietitians to join our Nutrition Services team in a fun, fast-paced environment that provides nourishing food to our patients, fellow employees and visitors. Job responsibilities include: - Monitoring, assessing and optimizing nutrition status based on the patient's current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy. - Conferring with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate medical and nutritional needs, and make recommendations for tube and intravenous feedings and/or dietary supplements. - Teaching patients and/or caregivers how to make nutritionally sound food choices to speed the recovery process, prevent/manage disease and maintain/manage a healthy lifestyle and weight.
