Who We Want
The Senior Buyer *is responsible for mentoring the Purchasing Department at our location on Thompson Road in *Fenton, MI.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leads development and implementation of cost saving programs.
- Manages sourcing selection of material with best-in-class cost and quality.
- Negotiates long term agreements.
- Develops strategies to achieve current and long-term results.
- Has familiarity with commercial terms and total cost management concepts.
- Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment.

What Requirements Are Needed
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience considered and prefer three to five (3-5) of practical purchasing experience at a small to medium-sized business.
Possess good negotiation skills - necessary when it comes to dealing with vendors.
