Responsibilities

$ Sign on bonus for experienced Clinic RNs - this is pro-rated for part time. Virginia Mason Medical Center, was recognized among the Best Hospitals in Washington state by U.S. News & World Report.

We have a brand 36 hours per week opening for a Clinic RN at our Federal Way Walk in Clinic. This is a 12 hour shift position

As a Registered Nurse at Virginia Mason you are able to grow personally and professionally as you make a dramatic difference in the lives of others. The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes: - Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care. - Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, - Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care. - Providing patient advice - Assisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic - Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant's clinical competency. Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Washington State RN license in good standing with the Department of Health.

  • CPR (BLS) certification is required every two years

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

  • Please note: Although this clinic is located in Federal Way, training and orientation will take place at our Virginia Mason location in Downtown Seattle .

Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records. Background or experience working in an urgent care or walk in clinic is desired.

Pay Range

$36.96 - $54.48 /hour
