Location: Trinity Health PACE – LIFE St Joseph of the Pines

Status: Full Time

Shift: Monday-Friday – Day Shift , ONSITE

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of your job position is to lead, manage & mentor the sales and enrollment department in support of the PACE Organization (PO) mission and strategic growth goals. Responsible for managing the local sale sand enrollment team & activities assuring that PACE Organization achieves growth and operating targets. Responsible for maintaining & developing new business & sales while continuing to build awareness & relationships in the community. Accountable to meet fiscal year enrollment targets in PACE assigned territory & provide ongoing feedback to leadership regarding growth progress. Maintain accurate referral tracking systems in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform (Enquire) utilized by PACE to ensure all qualified referrals are promptly entered into the CRM and that follow-up on all referrals assigned to team is timely and appropriate to ensure referrals

move through the various sales processes toward enrollment. The same tracking will occur to ensure accurate documentation activity in the Electronic Health Record and the QuickBase Dashboard Platform utilized by PACE. Responsible for collaborating with the TH PACE VP of Sales and Enrollment and the TH PACE Director of Marketing as they build and implement annual marketing plans which align with the TH PACE and Trinity Health goals and objectives.

Position Details:

This position will be housed Trinity Health PACE – LIFE St Joseph of the Pines.

What you will do:

  • Accurately & timely reporting to the V.P. of Sales & Enrollment & Leadership of requested information, data & project requests.

  • Lead the Sales & Enrollment teams & provide sales trainings, field coaching & mentoring as needed to accurately expedite the completion of the enrollment process. Provide oversight for accuracy & handle difficult cases personally.

  • Assist Community Liaisons in creating their individual territory tactical fiscal year sales plan with quarterly manager reviews to ensure growth targets are being achieved.

  • Ensures that the Sales & Enrollment team meet or exceed all KPI standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, qualified referrals & home intake visits.

  • Perform Sales & Enrollment direct team member reports individual yearly evaluations.

  • Assists with recruiting, interviewing & presenting candidates for open sales positions to leadership.

  • Conducts a minimum of one monthly meeting per month with the full Sales & Enrollment team. Conducts ongoing one-on-one reviews with the Sales Team to build more effective communication, to understand training & development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of team sales & activity performance.

  • Plan and coordinate open houses/outreach events for PACE Organization. Participate in external sales activities (i.e., senior fairs).

  • Perform individual and group presentations to potential referral sources, including but not limited to hospital discharge planning, local physician offices, social services organizations, home health agencies, etc.

  • Monitor, collect & submit enrollment data as required by various regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the State Administering Agency. Prepare reports as requested by administrative team on a timely basis.

  • Submit all marketing materials as directed by the TH PACE Director of Marketing and as required by various regulatory agencies including but not limited to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services for approval.

  • Perform an end of year review & update of current enrollment agreement & work with TH PACE marketing and communications to ensure new enrollment agreement is utilized at start of each new calendar year.

  • Direct and supervise direct reports and provide training as needed in the state specific enrollment process, if applicable.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of participant information.

  • Build relationships and visit frequently key customers including but not limited to Medicaid Offices, Offices of Aging and other financial eligibility agencies, key hospital contacts and other referral sources.

  • Participate in and support Quality Improvement Initiatives.

  • Responsible for adherence to all regulations, both federal and state, which govern the operations of a PACE organization.

  • Actively serves on various committees that support the daily operations of the program.

  • Participates in the preparation and presentation of mandatory education programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum three (3) years of sales experience in healthcare. Sales and Marketing experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills needed; project management skills including effective PR and external relations skills.

  • Active, current driver's license and insured vehicle is required.

  • Experience in training, coaching and motivating sales team members and improving effectiveness. Proven ability to develop and implement a strategic sales plan. Evidence of achieving sales goals.

  • State of North Carolina - Must have Employee Medical Statement that meets the requirements of the Standard completed prior to beginning employment, signed within previous 12 months by an MD, NP or PA, indicating that the employee has no illness or health condition that would pose a risk to others and can perform the duties assigned in the job.

  • Must be action-oriented, have business acumen, manage conflict well, be customer focused, have high decision quality, flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and have organizational agility. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

  • Possess interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross functional teams, customers and end users. Must be comfortable functioning in a virtual, collaborative shared leadership environment.

  • Demonstrates superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills appropriate for audience comprehension. Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral, that may be used either in an on-site or virtual environment is required. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.

  • Comprehensive to expert proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system. Knowledge of systems necessary, experience preferred. Ability to type with speed and accuracy. Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Possesses a high degree of personal accountability, responsibility and independent decision

  • Position requires frequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting. Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift a minimum of 20 pounds if applicable.
