TheHVAC Equipment Installation Foremansupports the industrial/commercial Contracting department by installing Duct work and refrigerant lines associated with HVAC equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to Split Systems, Roof Top Units, Air Handler Units, VAV boxes and Package Units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

• Fabricate duct transitions in the field
• Layout sheet metal duct and fittings including but not limited to
  • Sprial
  • S and Drive
  • Ductmate
  • Exhaust Flue
• Provide instruction to technicians and helpers
• Pre-plan and schedule work processes
• Interpret job drawings and blueprints
• Manage the installation of refrigerant lines, ensuring proper connection to HVAC equipment in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Install gas supply piping to equipment
• Assist other team members with job duties as necessary
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
• Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the companys mission and values
• Supervises complex jobs with multiple technicians

WORK HOURS:Monday thru Friday, overtime/weekends as required, travel to customer locations as required

The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Qualifications

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working nowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple iOS software
• Proficiency with applicable tools and operational renderings
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Ability to prove US employment eligibility
• Must possess EPA license
• Must possess Brazing certification
• Must possess a valid drivers license
