Welder

The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to assemble and weld generator housing units for the data and healthcare industries. The role involves welding structures and gas tanks, as well as performing additional tasks such as operating press brakes and moving materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials together to weld them.

• Weld structures and gas tanks.

• Operate press brakes.

• Move and position materials as required.

• Execute flux core and solid wire MIG welding on carbon steel.

• Perform vertical up and flat welds using flux core and solid wire during weld tests.

• Use tape measures, triangles, and levels to ensure materials are squared up and level.

• Weld consistent beads without breaks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.

• Experience with flux core and solid wire welding.

• Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and blueprints.

• Skill in structural welding and framework assembly.

• Familiarity with welding symbols and pressure vessel welding.

• Capability to perform 1G and 3G welds.

• Strong communication skills and work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• UL12 Certification is preferred.

• Experience with press brake operations.

• Soft skills, including effective communication and strong work ethic.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00
