Tyson Foods Engineer II - Reliability in Fayetteville, Arkansas
The primary objective of this position is to identify and develop equipment engineered standards for critical assets that can adversely affect plant or business operations. Travel to various facilities preforming reliability assessments, provide coaching and assistance with process delivery and execution. This position is responsible for performing the following tasks for a group of plants / locations: developing standard preventive maintenance procedures, communicating, and sharing amongst other facilities with similar assets. Work with locations to improve understanding of proper planning and scheduling techniques. Facilitate training targeted to plant and maintenance operations staff concerning specific divisional opportunities and company-wide processing optimization activities; Prevention through design, Critical Spare Rationalization, PM Optimization, Risk Assessments, FMEA, Reliability Centered Maintenance, working in conjunction with Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering and Continuous Improvement. This position is crucial in identifying trends and anomalies associated with equipment and material longevity, while developing counter measures and working with plant locations to resolve. Position is required to attend regular corporate level meetings with EAM, SAP-PM, Procurement group and other design engineers to ensure/develop improvements of corporate programs; process line and plant assessments; facilitating tag team opportunities; maintain corporate level reporting standards so DEs, GMDs, VPs, and SVPs can utilize Internal Benchmarks; and complete other duties as assigned.
Education : B.S. in a technical field, engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience : 5+ years' Food or Maintenance Operations.
Computer Skills : Standard computer skills; MS Project, SAP CMMS and or other CMMS systems.
Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills are mandatory; will be facilitating operations change in diverse groups.
Special Skills: Process knowledge in Food Manufacturing, processing equipment specifications and continued educational training in the field of Reliability; must have a customer service business attitude; ability to work in an unsupervised environment answering to multiple internal customers
