Description
We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This role is in the digital tax compliance software industry, where you will be the primary customer contact, handling inquiries and maintaining customer records. This position is situated in an onsite call center environment.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inquiries through phone, email, or chat
• Accurately document customer inquiries and maintain these records in a case management system
• Contribute to team projects, including site testing and client support initiatives
• Conduct outbound calls for complex issues requiring multiple interactions for resolution
• Adapt to changes in processes and policies as directed
• Maintain a daily log to assess productivity and identify areas of strength and improvement
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all tasks
• Display exceptional customer service skills in all interactions
• Show a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills in all customer interactions
• Exhibit proficiency in computer literacy, including internet applications and Microsoft Excel
• Apply analytical skills in interpreting customer inquiries and issues
• Maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements • Applicant should have experience in a Customer Service Representative role or a similar position.
• No specific years of experience are required for this role.
• Ability to answer inbound calls is a must.
• Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment is advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to handle customer complaints and queries effectively.
• Capability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and detail-oriented attitude towards customers at all times.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new products and services.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
