The Prince Edward County Sheriff's Office currently has a job opening for Communication's Officer (Dispatcher). Starting salary is $32,000 - 36,000 per year based on experience.
Duties include but are not limited to: receiving complaints, logging information in a computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, maintaining logs of all radio traffic, dispatching appropriate personnel to complaints, greeting and assisting the public, and performing all duties designated by the Sheriff.
Minimum Qualifications: Must hold high school diploma of GED. Must be 21 years of age by the hire date. Must pass a background check.
