Hannah Savage with Robert Half is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk for her client based in Farmington, New York. As part of the team, you will be primarily tasked with managing and organizing inventory, aiding in various areas as required, and providing training to other employees. This role is an exciting opportunity to develop and refine your skills in inventory management and clerical duties within our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize inventory using Excel

• Handle the selection of items for orders

• Provide cross-training to other team members

• Support as needed in various areas of the operation

• Opportunity to acquire Forklift/ASCM certification on the job, fully funded

• Handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Perform annual physical inventory and asset inventory

• Use NetSuite for various clerical duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role preferred

• Proficiency in handling inbound calls with a customer-centric approach.

• Demonstrated ability to perform clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and documentation.

• Knowledgeable in asset inventory, including tracking, organizing, and maintaining inventory records.

• Familiarity with conducting annual physical inventory to ensure accuracy and transparency.

• Experience with NetSuite software for inventory management and other business processes helpful
