The Staff Accountant is responsible for analyzing accounts, preparing journal entries, creating accounting reports, and participating in monthly close. You will also support some inventory functions and analysis. This is a permanent position with good benefits, work-life balance, and an opportunity to join an excellent team at a global company. Responsibilities

• Analyzes GL entries for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards

• Reviews assigned accounts, prepares journal entries, reviews accuracy, and investigates variances

• Process A/P and A/R functions, i.e. vendor debits and credits

• Assists Sr. Finance Manager with fiscal period-end closing and reporting activities

• Reconciles physical inventory results to internal inventory records and prepares inventory status reporting

• Prepare and validate supplier credits

• Assist with preparation of annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-term planning
