Insight Global Sr Account Representative in Farmington, Michigan

Job Description

A leading global supply chain organization is currently seeking a Sr Account Representative to join their team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This positions focus will be to build new clientele in the automotive related manufacturing industry. This individual will be responsible for building out leads, meeting with key individuals, scoping opportunities, handling contract negotiations, etc. It would be expected for this Sr Account Representative to be the main point of contact from the initial contact with a new customer through the implementation of product into the client's production. Once in production, the Sr Account Representative will hand off the relationship to the Inside Sales team to manage. This is a full time; direct hire role based in Farmington Hills Michigan and can expect to travel 30% of the time nationwide to visit client sites when needed.

Skills and Requirements

* 6+ years of sales experience (primarily outside sales)

* Experience in automotive manufacturing supply sales (B2B)

* Experienced handling contracts, sales negotiations, etc.

* Comfortable traveling to client sites when needed (30-50%) * Bilingual in Japanese or Spanish

* JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne) experience

* Metal or chemical sales experience

* Bachelors Degree null
