Keep network systems updated by applying patches and updates to software and hardware. Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security incidents, and security measures implemented. Document and maintain firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security devices. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure. Investigate and respond to security incidents, analyzing logs and identifying vulnerabilities. Primary worksite is Farmington, MI, but relocation possible.
