Greenley Library is currently seeking a part time Periodical/Electronic Resources Instructional Support Associate to perform various tasks, and support the library to ensure our students' success. The ideal candidate should be comfortable undertaking a variety of activities in the library: print and electronic periodical maintenance, answering the phone, organizing documents/ archival materials, maintaining Excel and Google spreadsheets, link checking and projects as assigned. The candidate should have the ability to work diligently and independently to maintain efficient library operations. Reliability and a strong work ethic with great communication skills are necessary, with proficient skills in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Periodical Collection under the instruction of Library Periodical Department Staff
Pick up journals/mail from Technical Services
Assist students finding periodicals
Answer basic information questions
Monitor the Periodical Department and second floor
Perform various office duties, as assigned
Maintain archival finding aides
Enter usage statistics in Microsoft Excel
Supervise Work Study students
Link checking journals and databases
Train and serve as back-up substitute at the Circulation Desk
Ability to learn new technologies
Enter eBooks, periodicals and additional information into Library Mgt System ALMA
Hours:
Monday 4PM - 11PM
Tuesday 4PM - 11PM
Sunday 1PM - 9PM

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Proficient with Google Drive and Office Outlook
Good communication skills
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Enrolled in a Master of Library/Information Science Program
