My client is a premier youth sports program for children, dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and positive learning environment. Their programs introduce sports to children in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and non-competitive. They are currently seeking a dynamic and organized Staffing Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis.

Job Summary:

The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and coordinating coaches and staff for Soccer Shots programs. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and dedicated to promoting the Soccer Shots mission.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Recruit and onboard coaches and staff for Soccer Shots programs, including conducting interviews, background checks, and training sessions.

  • Maintain a pool of qualified coaches and staff to meet program needs.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain schedules for coaches and staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs and events.

  • Coordinate with program directors and site coordinators to assign coaches and staff to specific locations and sessions.

  • Training and Development:

  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for coaches and staff, focusing on soccer skills, coaching techniques, and child development.

  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to coaches and staff to enhance performance and professionalism.

  • Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for coaches and staff, addressing inquiries, concerns, and scheduling changes.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with coaches, staff, program directors, and site coordinators.

  • Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of coach and staff information, including contact details, certifications, and availability.

  • Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in staffing coordination, event management, or youth sports administration is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with coaches, staff, parents, and program partners.

  • Knowledge of sports and experience working with children is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
