A client of ours in the entertainment industry is looking to hire an office assistant with great customer service experience. This is a family-owned business looking for an ideal candidate with a bubbly and outgoing personality.

Position Overview:

A competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Requirements

• Answer phones

• Promptly respond to messages by forwarding messages to appropriate staff or returning calls directly to client

• Retrieve and document phone messages from answer machine

• Take and complete, accurate simple orders Goal: zero errors

• Prepare invoices from job orders

• Transfer job orders to weekly production board

• Charge credit cards

• E-mail reminders

• Pull product

• Inventory product and supplies and report results to office supervisor

• Maintain a tidy, professional work area

• Light duty cleaning

• Other duties as needed or required.
