Job Description

As a Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include operating and diagnosing defects in equipment, inspecting machines for deficiencies, and upselling additional services. You will use diagnostic tools and schematics to assist with repairs and photograph the repair process for documentation. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness in your workspace, providing repair estimates to customers, and driving a service truck to and from job sites for on-site repairs. You will be expected to complete DOT inspections, if qualified, and attend training schools as necessary.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Farley, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean, organized environment from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The team is composed of 11 people, including three technicians. The shop, although 20 years old, is well-maintained and has a great culture. You are not required to work on weekends. Dress code includes steel toed boots and jeans.
