Spherion Staffing Fargo Seed Processing Operator in FARGO, North Dakota
[Spherion Staffing is looking for Seed Processing Operators. The Seed Processing Operator will work closely with the Conditioning Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that all conditioning runs meet customer quality requirements, while also attempting to maximize the total number of units bagged from each run.
[$18-22/hour DOE +$2/hour shift differential for nights [1st Shift 7am-3:30pm [2nd Shift 3pm-midnight
**[Responsibilities:
[-Perform work activities safely [-Accurately mix seed treatment chemicals to ensure proper seed coverage [-Utilize computers to record and locate information as needed [-Operate seed conditioning equipment according to instructions, including taking and documenting quality checks and activity as required [-Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicable [-Accurate bagged seed inventory counts [-Thoroughly clean all equipment between conditioning runs in order to maintain product integrity [-Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area [-Some forklift operations as need
**[Requirements: [-1 plus years of warehouse experience with knowledge on operation of seed treating equipment preferred [-Ability to lift and stack materials up to 68 lbs. for extended periods of time [-Must be able to operate machinery [-Must be able to read/write in English [-Basic computer skills [-Ability to work overtime
