Hospitalist Admitting Service

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Seeking additional full-time Hospitalists to be a part of the hospitalist team at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.

• Department of 14 full-time hospitalists.

• Excellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance.

• Strong, collegial team

• No procedures required

• Specialty and Intensivist support

• Two admitting services scheduled per day 7 days / week

• 0730-1930: Responsible for emergency department admission and consults

• 0900-2100: Responsible for working closely with our One Call / HS team taking transfers to the Hospital, direct admissions, and supporting the Essentia Health Hospital Care at Home patients via virtual visits.

• Twelve-hour shifts for 26 weeks per year

• Flexible scheduling

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine

• BC/BE in Family Medicine with strong interest and experience in hospital-based care (opportunity for mentorship)

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team orientation

LOCATION

• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota

• 3.5 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul

• Fargo-Moorhead population: 200,000

• Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals
