Job Description:

Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service in a fast-paced work environment. The pharmacy customer service personnel is responsible for handling multiple tasks per day including supporting customer needs, handling inventory, and performing clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent customer service by exhibiting patience, concern, and care in all patient interactions.

• Processes sales of medications and other merchandise.

• Assists in merchandising the department.

• Advocates and supports patients in enrolling in pharmacy programs such as medication synchronization.

• Receives, unpacks, and verifies all product is received and in acceptable condition. Stocks, cleans, and sorts pharmacy product.

• Prepares product to be mailed or couriered to patients.

• Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area.

• Assists pharmacy personnel with clerical functions.

• Self-directed, versatile, and works well in a group
