Our water resources engineers work on a variety of exciting projects including design work for drainage, stormwater, flood control, levee/floodwall, hydraulic structures, and similar projects.

Job Description

  • Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, draw out the design solutions to engineering projects and make updates once reviewed by project engineer.
  • Assist Water Resources Engineers with project reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide ideas on engineering solutions for variety of water resources projects and clients.
  • Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
  • Assist in client contact and communications.
  • May perform onsite construction observation duties for water resources projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid communication and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible and self-motivated.
  • Valid Drivers License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary
