Job Description

The Change Management Consultant is accountable for change management plans for strategic initiatives that impact Operations. Their primary responsibility will be developing and implementing change management strategies that ensure engagement, adoption, and utilization to support changes affecting people. The role will leverage our change management framework influenced by Prosci to create, document, and execute their plans effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Assess the current state and impact of the change from a people point of view.

  • Understand business goals and outcomes of initiatives.

  • Partner with stakeholders applicable to the change.

  • Leads/consults on the communication and training planning efforts.

  • Leads/supports the development of communication and/or resources.

  • Leads/contributes on the execution and adoption of change management plans.

  • Leverage Change Management tools and methodology.

Additional responsibilities may include :

  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

  • Consult and coach project team.

  • Support the project execution as needed.

  • Support and engage project managers/leaders, change directors, and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate efforts with key partners.

  • Track and report issues related to the change.

  • Define and measure success criteria and monitor change progress.

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities.

PREFERRED

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable communicating with many levels across an organization, including senior leaders.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships/client-focused.

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity.

  • Strong active listening skills.

  • Ability to influence others+.

  • Forward looking with a holistic approach.

  • Adaptable and flexible

  • Independent, self-starter that requires minimal direction.

  • Extremely collaborative, team player.

  • Familiarity with change management tools and methodologies.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
