BAE Systems Creative Media Services Manager in Falls Church, Virginia

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads all aspects of brand management to include digital and print design; oversees production and manages projects and vendors;

  • Responsible for both internal and external design projects for BAE Systems, Inc. headquarters, supporting design projects for Inc. senior leadership and key functional areas (including Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Community Investment, Business Development, Media, Exhibitions, Employee Resource Groups, Employee Communications, Legal, SHE, Ethics and Supplier Diversity);

  • Creates and delivers compelling designs for print and web-based materials, using the full Adobe Creative Suite;

  • Collaborates with Communications teams to understand requirements, recommend solutions and design materials for various channels and formats, including exhibitions, marketing collateral and social media;

  • Creative graphics lead for tier 1 U.S. exhibitions, including booth graphics, advertising and invitations;

  • Designs compelling graphics and infographics to demonstrate product platforms for advertising and media;

  • Serves as the internal expert at visual storytelling, recommending creative approaches to help deliver messages;

  • Creates multimedia content to be used as part of larger video or web projects;

  • Serves as a BAE Systems, Inc. enterprise-wide Brand Guardian, providing advice and counsel based on a thorough understanding of the BAE Systems brand and visual identity;

  • Supports Inc. senior leadership with graphics, artwork and presentation materials.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field with 8 years of experience;

  • Experience working in print and web design;

  • Must be able to prioritize heavy workloads based on deliverables and tight schedules;

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator as well as experience with Microsoft applications;

  • Experience with developing multimedia materials;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Well-versed on both PC and Mac platforms;

  • Experience with managing agencies and other people;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with great attention to detail and with a strong ability to adapt design styles, visual tones, etc. to multiple design treatments, each with a unique voice, look, and feel;

  • Collaborates consistently and easily with other creative roles (designers, developers, and video production teams) and functions across the enterprise;

  • Ability to independently manage and art direct complex creative projects within budget constraints.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Animation experience;

  • Photography experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
