BAE Systems Career Center Coach and Program Facilitator in Falls Church, Virginia

As such, we are standing up a new Career Mobility team and have an exciting opening for someone to lead the continued design and development of coaching and other internal mobility support programs. Reporting to the Manager, Career Mobility within the Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise, the Career Center Coach and Program Facilitator will play a critical hands-on role interacting with and coaching employees on how to best navigate their career opportunities at our company. This role is responsible for delivering career development workshops, one on one coaching, as well as other multimedia resources to provide the specific support and guidance our employees are seeking. This individual also plays an integral role in the continued build out of our virtual career center content and functionality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver career development workshops and resources for employees on topics including career information sessions, resume review, interview prep, post interview coaching as well as any other newly created offerings

  • Design and deliver manager career coaching and mobility programs to help them support internal mobility

  • Provide one on one coaching support for employees seeking internal movement who need guidance and direction. Develop and support a cadre of internal career coaches. Set standards and monitor performance/impact.

  • Partner with Talent Development to identify, procure and deliver career exploration tools and assessments

  • Create and manage Career Connect employee communications

  • Design and deliver career coaching circles, group mentoring and other programs to support mobility of diverse employee groups

  • Partner with the TA Technology team to implement system enhancements

  • Provide input to the skill library and integrated job descriptions

  • Partner with Talent Development to connect competency/skill-based learning to career paths

  • Partner with the Learning team to assess and address skill gaps best addressed through training and other development solutions

Work location for this position is flexible. Remote/hybrid work or on-site at a BAE Systems office will all be considered.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6-8 years work experience (equivalent relevant experience may be substituted for the degree)

  • Experience in human resources, coaching, or talent acquisition

  • At least 3 years of experience directly coaching employees, candidates and/or managers on career or human resources related topics

  • Prior experience with career coaching and/or career development in a corporate setting

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across functions, teams, and work groups in the delivery of a project or initiative

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of HR technology and systems

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills to include written communication and delivering information sessions

  • Experienced problem solver

  • Effective project management skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
