GDIT is seeking a candidate that is able to develop an understanding of these agencies, including their organizational structures, mission priorities, and general procurement approaches. The ideal candidate will possess current knowledge of the Information Technology (IT) priorities within these agencies, not to mention those in the larger Federal government market. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge to develop customer and partner engagement plans and provide GDIT’s operational leadership with marketplace aligned recommendations in road-mapping and executing CLIP’s go-to-market tactical and strategic plans.

  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to formulate, communicate, and implement an integrated business development and capture strategy that provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for an award

  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities that support the growth goals of the CLIP Business Area and the larger Federal Civilian Division

  • Engage with agency decisionmakers, assist in the development and implementation of campaign plans and “go to market” strategies, maintain a firm comprehension of the customer's requirements, understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors, and develop/implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses

  • Network with industry and government peers and research opportunities to increase understanding of customer needs, grow your knowledge base of opportunities, and improve our understanding of how GDIT’s capabilities and solutions map to mission requirements

  • Participate in trade shows, industry associations, and other industry or government-related groups to expand customer engagement

  • Execute opportunity-specific call plans, collaborating with technical staff and senior Operational leadership to test and vet potential solutions with customers

  • Support the development of white papers, proposals, business plans, and related marketing materials, briefing senior leadership on agency priorities, pipeline development, capture status, as needed

  • Supporting CLIP Business Area account leaders as they seek to develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors

  • Maintain open and collaborative communications between Capture Teams, GDIT’s corporate growth organization, and senior technical leadership throughout the pipeline development and execution process

  • Lead capture for smaller dollar value and/or subcontracted deals

  • Actively participate in strategy, technical, and pricing reviews

  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the business development process, providing customer insights and market intelligence

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
