Job Title: Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced technician with expertise in EPDM, TPO, Modified bitumen, and built-up roofing. Your duties will include running service calls, leak repairs, and installing curbs, pipes, and miscellaneous roof penetrations according to manufacturer details. You will work with both single ply and double ply membrane systems and should have knowledge of measurements and experience using tape measures. Access to basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and tape measures is required.

Responsibilities

• Run service calls and leak repairs.

• Install curbs, pipes, and miscellaneous roof penetrations per manufacturer details.

• Work with single ply and double ply membrane systems.

• Perform measurements accurately using tape measures.

Essential Skills

• Experience with EPDM, TPO, Modified bitumen, and built-up roofing.

• Knowledge of single ply membrane systems.

• Safety-oriented mindset.

• Valid license and reliable transportation.

• Prior experience in roofing and construction settings.

• Access to basic hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, tape measure, etc.).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shingle roofing.

• Proficiency in using power tools.

Work Environment

You will work in commercial settings such as hospitals, colleges, corporations, and schools. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. All work is local to the Rochester area and surrounding counties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairport, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
