Shop math and related shop knowledge a must. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred minimum of 1 year experience with OD (Cylindrical) grinding. Required 1 year experience setup of CNC Lathe working with +/- .0002 tolerance. Ability to work with mathematical concepts and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 1. Set-up and run parts on OD/Taper grinders 2. Inspect 1st pc on own work to meet standards 3. Operate precision gauging 4. Follow safety standards and procedures 5. Can operate with little or no supervision 6. Follow proper work instructions 7. Dependable and punctual
