Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC RN Hospice Surveyor in Fairmont, West Virginia

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RN Hospice Surveyor surveys hospice care organizations throughout the United States. Surveyors qualified in other provider types may have the opportunity for non-hospice surveys with HMS if interested.

The Surveyor will conduct surveys in accordance with the State Operations Manual (SOM) and will prepare a deficiency report in accordance with the Principles of Documentation (PoD) and the HMS Master Writing Guide.

The Hospice Surveyor will communicate their survey findings through the approved Quality Assurance process. The Surveyor will identify opportunities for improvement in the survey process and will effectively communicate said opportunities to the appropriate leadership staff. The Surveyor should be willing to accept survey assignments as needed and as directed by CMS and HMS. Remote.

Travel will be extensive. All travel arrangements are arranged so there are minimal out of pocket expenses. Full-time, part time and Casual (as needed, as available with flexible schedule) employment opportunities are available. Opportunities for advancement and/or cross training. Experience completing CMS surveys is required Required CMS training for provider types Ability to critically think and be competent in decision making skills Ability to perform all facility required tasks 3 years relevant experience.
