This individual is a key member of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT) and will collaborate with the plant team to advance 3M Fairmont.As Senior Quality Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Lead the 3M Fairmont site Quality organization to ensure we meet or exceed our customers expectations.Developing/implementing strategic and operational plans to improve the sites Quality Management System, improve our suppliers quality performance, and implement site/divisional/corporate Quality initiatives.Managing professional and support level employees with clearly defined roles and feedback to promote continuous improvements within our systems and processes.Communicating project or program status and results to stakeholders, including customers.Overseeing and performing standard work to ensure timely completion of nonconforming material review, supplier and internal corrective action as well as customer complaint completionOverseeing the execution of internal and external Quality auditsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environmentThree (3) years of experience in a leadership and/or supervisory roleAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Secondary Degree or higher in Engineering or related Technical Field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution preferred.Experience in a union facilityPrevious experience as a Quality leaderExperience applying and implementing statistical and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean manufacturing principles, Root Cause Problem Solving, CAPA, etc)Demonstrated ability to lead attainment of objectives for Quality and/or Supplier PerformanceSupport and/or lead efforts on life cycle management, risk management, product and process improvements, and other product documentation effortsAbility to work well with cross-functional peer team, partnering divisions, provide leadership for a diverse organizationTo learn more about 3M Fairmont and the Fairmont, MN area, please watch the following video:3M Fairmont Plant - A great place to work - A great place to live - YouTubeWork location:Fairmont, MNTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
