BUTLER COUNTY OHIO Program Outreach Coordinator (02:34300) in Fairfield, Ohio
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\ 1) Manages the Eligibility Referral functions at Ohio Means Jobs related to the administration of the Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP)(e.g., monitoring and distributing caseloads and special projects; addresses policy concerns with respect to eligibility; tracks criteria for performance metrics; makes final eligibility determinations. Responsible for the management of CCMEP including: monitoring funds and making additional appropriation requests as necessary. Responsible for evaluating and responding to disputes regarding denials for training, including associated record keeping. Coordinates youth programming and provides supervision of case management activities and data entry for CCMEP workers and the selected youth provider. Collaborates with and provides back up coverage for the OMJ Business Services Liaison.\ 2) Manages and tracks all JFS/OMJ community outreach activities and special events.\ 3) Provides direct supervision to assigned staff (e.g., determines need for new staff members and makes recommendations regarding need; interviews applicants and makes recommendations for the hiring of new employees; disciplines subordinates, when necessary, and initiates actions for the termination of employees; reviews and approves or denies employee requests for leave; reconciles worker time cards with worker attendance records to ensure that the number of hours matches for each day of the pay period; completes performance evaluations of subordinates' work; meets with subordinates regarding any grievances; trains new and current employees; assigns and reviews work of subordinates; oversees payroll, benefits and personnel record keeping.\ 4) Facilitates special projects and/or reports as requested including, but not limited to: special programs, OWD/ODJFS inquiries, or Workforce Development Board. Attends conferences and training seminars as directed.\ 5) Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.\ 6) Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.\ \
[Required Qualifications]{.underline}:
- Completion of high school diploma, GED; Bachelor\'s degree preferred, preferably in the areas of social work or related field; and
- Two (2) years experience in WIOA or casework related position; and/or
Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the stated minimum qualifications.\ \
