Job Title: Surface Grinder / Machinist

**Must have either surface grinding OR cnc machining. Will teach one or the other but not both

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surface Grinder with CNC Mill Setup, Operation, and Programming experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and manufacturing, with the ability to operate both CNC and manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines, particularly HAAS mills.

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.

• Run manual equipment as needed.

• Conduct inspections using micrometers, depth gages, and height gages.

• Perform troubleshooting and edits on PLCs, HMIs, and robotic automation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

• Provide excellent customer service and support.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience in machining/manufacturing.

• Proficiency in CNC operation and programming.

• Experience with manual machining.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and floor layouts.

• Familiarity with MasterCam and HAAS equipment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

 10 paid Holidays. (See current schedule)

 2 weeks paid vacation after one year of service @ December 31. (additional 2 ½ days at each 5 year interval) *

 5 Sick days paid if unused. *

 Employee deferrals weekly on a pre-tax basis.
