MAG UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot/Maintenance Examiner - (Lithuania) in FAIRFAX, Virginia
Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot/Maintenance Examiner (MTP/ME) to support a contract we are bidding on concerning a US Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USA-SATMO) training team’s support to the Lithuanian Air Force (LTU AF).
The overall team will be comprised of both Pilots and Maintenance subject matter experts with a tentative timeline for action on this program of mid-May 2025 with multiple option years to follow on.
This is a flying position.
The work location is primarily at Siauliai Airbase , with potential alternate Lithuanian locations.
All Infrastructure concerning living (apartment, cars, flights etc) will be provided by MAG Aerospace and is currently being developed
This position might assume an additional duty as the Site Lead with additional administrative / oversight duties - compensation will be adjusted.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to :
Serve as the Senior UH-60A Maintenance Advisor to the LTU AF
Conduct informal training and evaluation of LTU AF Maintenance Test Pilots.
Shall assist the LTU AF maintenance effort by conducting maintenance operational checks, ground run-ups, check flights, and maintenance test flights to ensure operational readiness of LTU AF aircraft IAW applicable Flight Operating Procedure (FOP).
May be designated to perform Technical Inspector duties.
Required to train, progress, and certify LTU AF designated MTPs.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Certifications/Qualifications/Experience:
Served in the U.S. Military.
Must have a minimum of 1500 total rotary wing flight experience.
Minimum of 300 cumulative UH-60 M Maintenance Test Pilot flight hours.
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Test Pilot.
Education/Certification:
Graduate of a U.S. Army Flight School/Training Course UH-60M MTP Course
Qualified in the last 4 years – Dunker/Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEED)
Security Clearance:
- Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance)
Other Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Flight Physical / Medical Certificate.
Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.
Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Lithuanian Visa.
Must provide proof of the following:
Military Service, (DD Form 214).
Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks).
Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate.
Aircraft Maintenance Test Pilot / Examiner.
(Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is 200,000 - 300,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
