Arya Home Healthcare LLC Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Fairfax, Virginia

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Arya Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable home attendants (Caregivers) to provide personal care and assistance to seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. This job is available year-round. This position is available part-time or full-time depending on your availability and the clients needs. Previous experience as a Home Attendant is preferred, but not required. Candidates are required to have a valid drivers license, proof of citizenship or employment/work authorization, and submit to a background check per Virginia code 63.2-1720.

Time commitment

: Varies depending on the clients needs, typically 8-12 hours per day. This job offers flexible employment with part or full time positions availiable.

Location

: This is an IN-PERSON job, you will be assigned to clients within your area (Fairfax, Herndon, Leesburg, Vienna, and Centreville, Virginia highly preferred).

Payment:

This is a PAID job, you will receive a competitive hourly wage and applicable overtime around $14.00-$17.00.

You will receive ongoing Personal Care Aide training, support, and recognition from our Nursing Director and Administrator. Free training to become certified as a Caregiver (PCA). A "Personal Care Aide Training Curriculum," 2003 edition, of the Department of Medical Assistance Services training by Arya Home Healthcare will be provided, if you do not have a proper HHA licensure.

Requirements

: Valid drivers license and ability to commute to and from clients home, and pass a background check (provided and paid for by Arya Home Healthcare), and obtain a proper HHA Aide licensure (you can obtain one from our agency or from another agency).

Ambulation: physically assisting a patient who otherwise would be unable to move about independently.

Eating: includes hand feeding a patient who is incapable of self-feeding.

Personal hygiene: which includes bathing the patient.

Dressing: physically applying a patients clothing to the patients body.
