Description We are on the lookout for an experienced Legal Assistant to become a part of our dynamic team. As a Legal Assistant, you will be primarily working in the field of Family Law, based out of our Fairfax office in Virginia. Your work will revolve around managing case files, client relations, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize case management software to keep track of all case-related details

• Handle billing functions efficiently and ensure all client bills are accurate

• Manage the calendar, schedule appointments, and ensure all important dates are noted and reminders are set

• Manage and administer claims in accordance with the prescribed guidelines

• Maintain strong client relations through regular communication and updates

• Exhibit strong communication skills to liaise between different parties involved in a case

• Work on cases related to Family Law, ensuring all legal procedures are followed accurately

• Assist in the handling of civil litigation cases when required. Requirements • Applicant must have at least one year of experience as a Legal Assistant.

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software is required.

• Must be able to handle Billing Functions effectively.

• The role requires skills in Calendar Management.

• Experience in Claim Administration is a necessity.

• Strong ability to manage Client Relations is expected.

• Excellent Communication skills are essential.

• Knowledge of Family Law is required.

• Experience in Civil Litigation is preferable.
