Job Title: Fire Control Technician - Connecticut - Relocate to Virginia

Join our dedicated team where you get to be a crucial component in the integration, tactical control, weapons/payload control, information assurance, and tactical network subsystems. This development is conducted separately from the weapons control system (WCS) and payload control system (PCS), enabling parallel development and certification.

We are seeking a Test Technician with hands-on experience with the Navy’s AN/BYG-1 Tactical Control System (TCS) to contribute to the Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet. Our close-knit team is passionate about delivering the best product to the Navy, helping to protect our country. We work closely with the Submarine community to develop solutions that enable the Navy to execute high-stakes national security missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct subsystem and system-of-systems testing on blackboxes at various locations.

• Collaborate in an Agile environment with engineers across the program to verify our deliveries to the Navy.

• Analyze software to ensure it meets system, functional, and performance requirements.

• Install test bays and troubleshoot anomalies.

• Communicate and proactively resolve issues with engineers from other subsystems to identify and address problems as a project team.

Required Qualifications:

• US Navy Submarine Fire Control or SONAR Technician (FT/STS) experience is REQUIRED.

• Knowledge of Test Engineering concepts.

• Experience with Fire Control systems.

Work Site: Fully on-site position in Fairfax, Virginia.

Work Environment: 100% on-site with rare travel to shipyards (Virginia Beach, Rhode Island, etc.).
