Engineering & Implementation Manager

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As an Engineering & Implementation Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects and initiatives to ensure seamless integration of projects through the engineering pipeline. The Engineering and Implementation Manager innovates to define new ways of developing product and packaging solutions internally and externally, and help the organization become more effective and Agile.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of architects, engineers, and project managers to design/build/deploy IT Infrastructure solutions and upgrades for a government customer.

  • Participate in planning and designing systems to meet the evolving needs of the business, and provide human resource, technical, and process leadership for the team to identify and implement opportunities for service enhancements.

  • Manage and prioritize information systems requirements and analyze project costs and provide guidance to align with strategic initiatives

  • Keeps well-informed on new technologies and industry best practices and trends

  • Develops and administers schedule and performance requirements

  • Maintains accounts, security, workflows, and secure systems connectivity, policies, and procedures

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Experience : 7 yrs

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Program Management / Business Administration or equivalent IT related field

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project and program management including at least five (5) years of experience managing IT projects and programs across a multi-time zone, multi-facility enterprise.

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Experience with managing using DevSecOps concepts.

  • Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders and vendors responsible for delivering interrelated services.

Desired Experience

  • Experience with any DHS agencies or entities

  • Experience with working in an ITIL v3 or v4 framework to deliver enterprise services

  • Experience with Agile processes

Security clearance level : Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust Suitability and a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
