ManpowerGroup Accounts Receivable Specialist in Fairfax, Virginia

Position: A/R Data Entry Specialist

Location: Fairfax, Virginia

Duration: From Date of Hire through February 2025

Onsite: Initially, M-F, standard working hours (w/ possible flex)

Experis is partnered with a market-facing professional services firm in their search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Fairfax, VA.

Job Description:

Data Entry-focused. The successful candidate will have a solid Cash Receipt background to backup the AR Team when the need arises. Will also address and resolve administrative-related requests via email or phone. Includes, but not limited to, requests from Clients to obtain a W9, Statements on Account, and update information pertaining to Client mailing addresses, contacts, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Backup the A/R Team in daily Cash Receipt entries.

  • Review Client information currently in Deltek: Vantagepoint and look to minimize/consolidate duplications of Client Names and Locations with the assistance of the Accounts Receivable Manager.

  • Maintain the AR Inbox and address requests from Clients or internal Project Managers related to W9s, Statements on Account, and to update Client address information, contact information as it pertains to active Projects.

  • Address requests within a 24 hour time period.

  • Research and verify requests from 3 rd parties regarding statements on account or requesting any sensitive financial information.

  • Assist in other duties assigned by Accounts Receivable Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience.

  • Meticulous attention to detail is required.

Preferred (would be a PLUS):

  • A.A. in Accounting; Notary;

  • Deltek: Vantagepoint experience
