Summary: As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for leading, coaching, supporting, inspiring and developing a world-class team of people who will develop and implement the material planning, inventory management and warehousing strategy to ensure the achievement of our "why", vision, mission and growth plans.

The person in this role will be an integral leader within our Operations team, responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of our warehouse, inventory management, logistics and cycle counting to ensure that we provide the right parts, in the right place, at the right time, every time.

Responsibilities: As the Warehouse Manager you will: Develop, inspire, recruit, coach, teach and mentor the materials team to achieve world-class performance. Create a positive and friendly work environment via collaboration, transparency and clear communication. Lead your team in developing and maintaining Lean/5S standards to support a healthy, safe, clean and fun working environment. Oversee the material handling of inventory from stock to the production lines. Maintain and ensure component accuracy in ERP system to insure proper loading of schedules, printing of labels, transfer of assets from RAW to WIP, transfer of assets to facilities and transfer of goods from inventory for all material movement to and from the production facility. Oversee daily inventory levels and replenishes stock based on the use of lean methodology (i.e., Kanban, pull flow, level loading, etc.) to prevent finished goods stock outs and/or material shortages at the production lines. Implement a comprehensive Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to ensure all parts are properly located and managed, with material-delivery routes and pull signals to link a continuous flow line-side. Develop and execute Cycle Counting process and procedures to increase inventory accuracy. Own the inventory availability and generate monthly inventory report to be presented to the greater organization. Collaborate with cross functional counterparts to root cause material shortages. Support and help to implement the policies, procedures, systems and programs required to meet the department objectives and to ensure continuous improvement in all material management and supply planning areas. Work closely with other leaders and teammates (Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain / Strategic Purchasing, Quality, Sales and Marketing, Regulatory, Process Engineering) to communicate and coordinate continuous improvement activities. Responsible for reducing inventory as measured by Days on Hand, improving on time delivery (OTD); coordinates closely with regional/site team to implement efficiency gains. Perform other duties as assigned to support Global Supply Chain Team and the Company. Requirements You're a great fit for this position if this describes you;

Education and Experience; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and/or Operations. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position related to materials planning, production control, purchasing, forecasting and/or master scheduling within a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment. 5+ years of experience working with MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Syteline (Infor), experience implementing new technologies a plus (V2P). Experience with lean concepts/tools such as VSM, Kanban, JIT, single piece flow, waste reduction and Kaizen. Solid working knowledge of EDI, ASN's and asset transactions through various stages of the material process flow. Proven experience in developing and implementing a new warehouse. Lean certification a plus. An understanding and familiarity with OSHA requirements preferred. Capabilities and Personal Attributes; Highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint, in particular). Excellent written communications skills, including the use of proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar to produce error-free copy, particularly composing letters, reports and documents used for decision making. Outstanding verbal communication skills including tact and diplomacy which would be utilized during customer service, conflict management, development of relationships with internal and external contact. Able to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, under pressure with time constraints while responding and adapting to change favorably and quickly.
