Job Title:  Production Parts Expeditor Department:  Production Classification: Non-exempt

Responsibilities - As a Production Parts Expeditor at United Safety, you will: Move materials, parts, and assemblies to and from work locations, while ensuring accuracy or parts and quantities picked in order to meet production schedules Proactively work with material handling group to ensure correct priorities and pull schedules are set and followed to meet production targets Research parts shortages and work the owner on developing timeline for completion based upon production schedule Use skills that you have to lead parts shortage meetings which will include all levels of leadership in the organization Requirements You're a great fit for this position if this describes you; Above average computer skills, particularly excel Experience with and ability to work comfortably in an EPR/MRP system Sense of urgency that aligns with operation needs; we have a rapid pace Ability to multitask, maintain focus with multiple interruptions, and ability to track and follow- up on multiple part numbers concurrently Basic understanding of fabrication processes, highly preferredHere at United Safety, we embrace the core values that make us great.
